The Little House

Set in a picturesque, 1920s suburban Tokyo, the story unfolds the triangles that reshape the lives of Masaki, a factory employee, his wife Tokiko and their son, Kyoichi, through the arrival of a friend, and the growing winds of war. As we reconstruct these events six decades later through the notebooks of Taki, their household maid, it becomes clear that another narrator triangulated the story in a very different fashion.
